Virtual Weigh Station
Designed to help provide effective weight enforcement on secondary and bypass roads, METTLER TOLEDO's virtual weigh station systems are an extremely cost effective and flexible solution. How it works…. A weigh in motion system is installed on across both lanes of a two lane bypass road. As vehicles cross the WIM scale a photo overview image of the vehicle, as well as a close up of the cab door, are captured if the vehicle is overweight. Images and weight data is stored for remote retrieval, or instantly transmitted via a wireless RF modem to a laptop computer in a nearby, hidden, patrol car. Optionally, a remote terminal can be located at the nearest fixed facility weigh station for monitoring the bypass road virtual weigh station. Overview Photo of Weight on Video Close
